The Hupman Brothers in a Nova Scotia living room

If you're looking for a great house concert experience, why not come out to hear The Hupman Brothers on October 24th.

No looking for parking downtown! An early night (starts at 7:30 pm, ends by 10:00 pm)
Free food! (potluck snacks!) Free non-alcoholic punch, so no need for a designated driver...

The Hupman Brothers first came to our attention a couple of years ago at In the Dead of Winter Music Festival in Halifax. They made quite an impression on the room - and they've been building audiences ever since (well, even before that in the town of Wolfville where they had been playing The Deep Roots Festival for a while...).

If you would like to attend, drop me an e-mail at   teamwork  at  hfx.eastlink.ca

Fall House Concerts!

Hello to all visitors who love music, and especially house concerts - concerts held in the comfort of your living room! - hosting a show is very easy, and I will be blogging about that later today.

We are working hard to bring you the house concert news from our site, http://acousticroof.ca and I know there are already some concerts posted across the country for the fall of 2009...but here's a sneak peek at some of the names that will be performing that still aren't posted.....the following are shows that will be held at our very own home as part of "Lift the Wind Concert Series" like the one we had with Erin Costelo, pictured above, in fall of 2008

Over time we will blog about shows coming up at other venues, but find out specifics on these shows, visit our website and check out the concert listings page, searchable by MONTH!
This will give you info on shows across Canada and you can share this info with friends far and wide!

The Hupman Brothers - a great Annapolis Valley duo
Charlie A'Court - Bluesman extraordinaire
Dave Carroll - of "United Breaks Guitars" fame... and also one half of the Sons of Maxwell...
we are also working bringing...
Kim Dunn, Rylee Madison and Dave Carmichael
to our home for your listening pleasure.
